Educational Consultant in Health & Social Care

Jan Hancock is an independent educational practitioner, with 30 years experience as a health and social care professional, university lecturer, course designer and educational manager.

 

Jan acts as a consultant to health care professionals in both the private and public sectors, undertaking the design and delivery of staff education, training and change management projects within an organisation.

 

In effect she supports, enables and facilitates clients’ objectives from initial consultation to final implementation. Areas of specialist expertise include project management (planning, scheduling and coordination to achieve defined outcomes); course management (identifying human and physical resources); and quality teaching provision (ensuring a balance of knowledge and skills-based learning).

 

All projects undertaken are created within the frame of reference provided by the client and (Quality Assurance Agency Criteria), meet or exceed the rigorous standards of the QAA. This applies equally to overseas projects undertaken for, or on behalf of, commissioning clients based in the UK.

 

Jan is involved with the Lifelong Learning Network for the East of England.
